Top 10 Beauty Products!

Hi everyone, it feels like forever since I've blogged on here, but I'm back!

I have been so busy revising for exams, and also, we have just opened a family tea room which is exciting:)
So in this post, I am going to be sharing with you my top 10 beauty items, and it is also a collab with Dani's Planet, so once you have read this head on over to her blog to check out her post.
Anyway, let's just get into it!

1. Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum.
I'm going to start off with face makeup, and my first item is the Bourjois Healthy Mix Gel Serum.
this product is soo good. I don't usually wear a foundation but when I do I like to use one with a low coverage. This gives a really nice glow to your face and smells lovely too!

2. Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer.
This one is a very popular product at the moment, and I can definitely see why. This product gives the best coverage ever and is such a good price! it is only around £4-£5 depending on where you buy it.

 3. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder.
There's not really a lot I can say about a powder, however, this is a really good powder. I tend to go for the 'transparent' one. This powder is not a cakey one, however, it does give a really good coverage and does stop your face from being shiny.

 4. Calvin Klein Flush with Desire
blusher.
This is one of the only blushers that I ever use. It is in the shade 'Desire'.
It has such a lovely and natural shade and a lovely sparkle to it.

My next product is a bit messy and worn because it is one of my favorites!
This is the Collection Highlight and sculpt pallet. The bronzer in this is one of the only ones that I have found that doesn't make me orange! and the highlight in it is absolutely stunning! it has such a gorgeous glimmer and gives a really natural glow. this is also very good for its money, it was only £4.19!!

6. Benefit High Beam.
This is another highlighter, and as you can probably tell, I love highlighters haha! This one is a bit more pricey than the other one, so I tend to use this one for more special events, such as parties, or gigs, and the other one more for school and stuff. This is so stunning and natural and I would definitely recommend it!

7. Benefit Roller Lash.
This is one of my favorite drugstore mascaras. it has a curved brush and even the packaging in stunning, rose gold!!
I like to buy the mini's as i feel like they dry out slower than full sizes, and you can buy it here.

8. Maybelline Lash Sensational.
this next product is a new favorite of mine. I think for the price of £7.99, this product is amazing. On some days this mascara can go a little bit clumpy, however, most of the time it is amazing!

 9. Mac Lipstick in Midi-Mauve.
This is my favorite lipstick at the moment. It is a very similar color to velvet teddy but a bit more natural, and velvet teddy is a bit more orangey. this is an amazing consistency and is definitely worth the price. I paid £15.50 for it from Mac and this is my go to at the moment.

Thanks for reading, please head over to Dani's blog and check out her post too, the address is in the intro, bye!<3 xx

Monday, 14 September 2015

Hi everybody! So I'm really glad that my last two posts worked on a scheduled time, and i hope you all liked them! Some of you may know that on Thursday it was my 15th birthday, and one of my most requested blog posts was 'What I got for my 15th birthday' post.

disclaimer- I am not bragging or showing off in any way shape or form, this was requested and I also love reading these when other people post them. I am extremely grateful for everything i received.
Im not going to go into too much detail of each item or I would be here for hours, but I will put a small caption on each photo explaining what it is etc..

Im starting off with the beauty stuff that i received. The first two items are 2 body scrubs from Wilkinsons. These are in the scents strawberry and pomegranate, and passion fruit and melon and they smell amazing! in the picture to the left, is a grapefruit cleansing hand gel, a strawberry body gel and a strawberry lip balm. These are all from the body shop and smell Amazing. I also got two bath
bombs from wilkinsons and they are
in the scent Rhubarb and
Vanilla and passionfruit and Melon.
I have never tried wilkinsons
bath bombs so I'm really excited
to give them a go. The last beauty thing
that i got was a real techniques brush.
I have wanted one of these for the longest
time and i am honestly so grateful for it.
I also got a set from my next door neighbours which was so thoughtful. inside it was a plastic Starbucks cup, bath salts, a bath melt and a candle which has such a lovely sweet scent. Im not sure what brand they are but if you can work it out from the pictures i would definitely recommend buying them.

So on the left is a Roxy watch that I received from my brother. It is so lovely and i am so thankful for it. on the right is a pack of candles from my best friend to go with my other present from her, she knows how much i love candles!

So i did get a few boxes of chocolate, i love a sweet treat every now and then so i thought these were lovely. on the right is a scrunchie body wash thing to go with my scrubs and a light up owl (which hoots can i add!) but its a bit of a personal joke for that one!

So from my auntie i received this cream/white jewellery box. It is soooo roomy and has really good storage spaces. In this i also received a stunning pair of earings, a necklace and a rose gold watch.

So i honestly thought this present was so incredible. My amazingly talented friend Emily made this notebook using all of my favourite song lyrics. she created it all handmade and i honestly love it so much!!

And my main present, (ignore the snapchat caption hah!) is actually what I'm typing on right now, and it is a MACBOOK AIR!!!!!!!
So i got the 13" macbook air and it is soooooo good I'm so thankful and grateful. it is so much easier to use than my old laptop and I'm hoping to make a youtube video in the near future using the iMovie app on here!
Thank you soon much to everyone who got/gave me a present, i am honestly so grateful for everything i received!
I also had a small house party with some of my best friends and i will put some pictures down below in case you are interested in seeing that!

Bye guys!

My top tips on getting clear skin♡

Hi everyone! so recently I am trying to keep my skin quite healthy and glowing and I have managed to achieve it finally. here are my top 5 tips on to how to keep your skin clear!

1. Take off your makeup whenever you can.
Honestly, do you really need makeup on when your sat at home watching tv? makeup clogs up your pores and will cause spots and blemishes, which you don't want. my favourite makeup removing wipes are the simple kind to skin face wipes.

2. Steam.
steaming is a great way to clear your pores and keep your skin glowing. All you need is a bowl of boiling water and a towel. Simply sit at a table, put your face above the water (facing down) and place the towel over your head to prevent the steam from escaping.

3.  Be healthy.
This tip is pretty self explanatory, but honestly your never going to get healthy skin without being healthy. Exercise, eat healthy and just be good, but don't feel like you can't treat yourself every once in a while!

4. use a facial wash every morning and night, followed by a moisturizer.
Cleansing your skin is so important if you want clear skin. It opens your pores and deeply cleanses and it is so easy to do! Personally I like to use Elemis face washes but a drugstore dupe is the Simple Kind To Skin Face Wash. I also always use a moisturizer afterwards otherwise you can get dry patches which you don't want.

5. Drink Water!
I seriously can't stress this enough, but water is so important to help you achieve nicer skin. I didn't drink water a lot a few months ago and honestly my skin was horrid. You should be drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day. Not only does this help your skin, but it has so many other benefits aswell, and it will make you feel so much better and positive about everything!

Thankyou for reading, I'm hopefully going to do a few more health/fitness related blog posts so if you want to see them, please leave a comment below!
bye,

The Autumn Tag♡

Hi Everyone! so I'm writing a lot of blog posts tonight so i can post more throughout the week, and hopefully I'm going to do this every Saturday so I can blog more regularly.

So this blog post is going to be 'The Autumn Tag'.
Autumn is my favorite time of the year (as well as winter), so i have been so excited all year to do this tag! I don't want to have a really long intro to this post so I'm just going to go straight in and answer the questions..

1. Ok we're talking coffee's - what's your favourite seasonal drink from Starbucks/Costa/Cafe Nero etc?
So this is a really hard question to answer because I love all coffee's, especially at this time of the year!! at the moment I am really loving pumpkin spiced latte's, which are in most coffee shops, but all year I look forward to the Costa White Hot Chocolate, It's SO creamy and tastes incredible! its still not out for another few weeks yet sadly but I cant wait till its out!

2. Accessories - what do you opt for, scarf, boots, gloves?
I use all of these!! This time of the year I love my 'Black Chelsea boots' that i got from H&M last year and my 'Red Tartan Scarf' that I also got last year from Joules.

3. Music - what's your favourite music to listen to during Autumn?
My music taste really doesn't change much at any time of the year, but i do enjoy listening to Christmas songs when it gets nearer to Christmas.

4. Perfume - what's your favourite scent for this time of year?
I would have to say my Jimmy Choo perfume, it has such a sweet and strong scent and always reminds me of autumn.

5. Candles - what scents will you be burning this season?
I really like sweet scents this time of year so I will be burning anything 'Cakey' and christmassy that i can find. Currently I am burning my 'Vanilla Cupcake' candle from Yankee Candle.

6. What do you love most about Autumn?
I can't pick one thing, there's too many! I love everything, the smells, fairy lights, woolly jumpers, weather, films, drinks, and so many more!!

7. Favourite makeup look?
So at this time of the year i like to go for a 'berry' or 'pinky' kind of look. i usually find that I'm pretty pale this time of the year so some concealer, bronzer, blusher, mascara and lipstick is usually my everyday pick ups. If I'm going somewhere nice i might add a small cat eye flick and some natural coloured eye shadow. I'm also hoping to be a bit more daring this year and possible try a purple toned lipstick...

8. What are you looking forward to most in Autumn?
Pretty much everything I've mentioned on this tag! i just love everything about autumn so much!!

Thankyou for reading this post, please +1 as it only takes a click of a button and it means a lot!
I will hopefully now be uploading every 2-3 days but please check out my social media near the top of my blog to keep updated!

My Travel Makeup Bag!♡

Hi Everyone! How are you all? So now im finally done with exam stress until next year, I can finally post a bit more! I am sooooo excited for tommorow night to see the first episode of season 6 of Pretty Little Liars! Do any of you watch it? That season 5 finale was Amazing!!
Butttt anywayyy, This blog post is a collab with Ellie from 'BeautyGirlBlog99' so once your done reading this, go and check out her blog!

Im going to start with skincare because there is less of it!

For my facewash, I am going to use the Elemis Travel Facial Washes. These are amzingly small and good quality, and you can still get so many uses out of it!

I got this in a pack of 3, including these two and the 'Elemis Mattifying Moisturizer' In tk max. The two I take are the Purifying and the Exfoliating Facial wash.

For my moisturiser, I take Two. Overnight, I use The Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturizer. This is really good and is a perfect travel size.
For the daytime, I use the Garnier Essentials Hydrating Day Cream. This is really hydrating and works all day long, especially when you don't want to wear makeup.

I try and keep my makeup very light and simple for traveling, so here are my products:

So for my base products, I have chosen a concealer, foundation and powder. The concealer I use is the Benefit Fake up. This gives amazing coverage yet it feels so light on the skin. The foundation I use is the Avon, Ideal Shade Light Makeup. This is really good coverage but can be a bit shiny, so to Matte this down I will be using the Collection Pressed powder. These again are all perfect size for travel.

So I use different blushes at different times when traveling but these are two of my current favorites. I have chosen the Calvin Klien Flush With Desire Velvet Blush, as it has a mirror and a brush already inside it, perfect for traveling! And I also am loving the MUA Mosaic Blush in the shade 'English Rose', which isn't actually very pigmented, but once you layer it up a bit has a lovely colour.

So as i said, I like to be very natural so i have chosen my Barry M Natural Nudes palette, as it has a brush, blusher, and 8 natural shades in it. This is one of my FAVORITE pallets so it has to go in.

So for my mascara, I take these Benefit Mini sized Roller Lash and They're Real. These are PERFECT for travel as they are Sooo small but still big enough for a lot of use!

So to finish off in my Makeup Bag, I have lipstics. Lipsticks are a very personal choice but the ones i like are more of a pinky shade,
I have chosen all avon lipsticks as they are my favorite, very pigmented and moisturising.

The shades I chose were (going left to right in the picture)

1. Carnation
2. Natural Gold (my personal favorite)
3. Rose Garnet.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, please +1 as it only takes the click of a button and it helps so much! Love you all, have a good morning/night or whenever your reading this,
