So recently I havn't been posting as regularly as i'd like to have done but I have been Sooooo busy, and also very stressed as a result of this.
Last night I was thinking about what to blog about and I decided on a Pamper night essentials.
Its always good to allow yourself a couple of hours every week to have a chill out and relax. especially after a stressfull week/day.
1. The First thing I do to start my pamper evening is to run a bath. I find a bath completely relaxes me. I like to add a bath bomb and a bit of a bubble bar into mine, which makes my skin smell lovely and feel soft, and also i love bubbles. My all time favorite is the Lush Luxury Christmas Pud, which is a christmas exclusive, and leaves you with a colourful bath and smells lovely, and The Comforter, which you can currently purchase for £4.75.
2. My next step is to light some candles. I love christmassy smells so these are some of my favorites from Yankee Candle.
you can purchase these for £1.80.
-Fireside Treats
-Vanilla Satin
-Christmas Treats
(Make sure to put them somewhere where you know you are not going to burn yourself, and if you are clumsy, like me, or under 18 to get help from a parent or friend!)
3. The third step, while i have my bath running and my candles burning, I make sure i wash and cleanse my face, removing all makeup and dirt that has built up throughout the day. The bath will help cleanse your pores which is no good is they are covered up with makeup! I use The Simple Facial Wipes which remove makeup and you can purchase for £3.25 for a pack of 25, and The Moisturising Facial Wash which you can purchase for £3.59.
4. After i have cleansed in the bath, I like to hop into the shower to wash my hair as i hate washing it in the bath, and i can't when there is other products in my bath. I Use Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Shampoo. It makes my hair very silky and it smells like raspberrys. You can puchase this for £2.50.
To condition my hair i use the Pantene Pro-V Colour Protect Mask, which has to stay on for 2 minutes, and leaves my hair in amazing condition and shiny. You can purchase this for £4.69.
After I have washed my hair, I rub in some v05 Miracle Concentrate Argan Oil while it is still damp and put it into a turbie towel (which can I add is a lifesaver!).
I then Put on a facemask, because we are pampering ourself! For a treat I sometimes use a Fresh Facemask, Such as the Cupcake Face Mask from Lush, which is £6.50.
If I have no fresh facemasks at home some nights, I like to use my Raspberry Exfoliating Mud Mask, which is Superdrug's own brand, but lasts long, and makes my skin feel amazing! Sadly, this has been discontinued, but a similar alternative is the Simple Deep Cleansing Facial Mask, which is £2.66.
After my facemasks, I put on a onesie or some fluffy pjama bottoms, and whilst i let my facemask dry, I put on my fairy lights and read a book. I am currently reading The Notebook by Nicholas Spark, which I can't put down. If you don't like reading, you can always watch some tv or a film, or even play a game on a device.
The last step for my pamper night is to mosturize. Once I have washed my facemask off, I use my Elemis Skin Clear Mattifying Moisturizer, which you can purchase for £20.00 (50ml), on my face. I then use my Dream Cream Moisturiser from Lush on my body and hands, which you can purchase for £11.95, and smells amazing!
Thankyou for reading this blog post! Comment below if i have missed anything or tell me about your pamper night essentials! love you guys!
